What is Next Trade?

Next Trade combines two tools for active traders: a millisecond Trade Copier that mirrors one leader account's fills to follower accounts, and an AI Trade Journal that turns your trade history into performance analytics, insights, and a daily game plan. The AI Trade Journal is live today; the Trade Copier is coming soon.

Do I need a broker to use it?

No broker connection is required to use the Journal today. You import your trade history as a CSV file exported from your broker or platform (upload, preview, then confirm). A live broker connection will matter later for the Trade Copier, which is still coming soon.

How does the free trial work?

Accepted Answer

Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial. A card is required to start the trial. You can cancel any time before day 7 from Settings → Billing (which opens the secure Stripe customer portal) and you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, billing begins automatically when the 7-day trial ends.

What plans are available and what do they cost?

Journal is $25/mo and is the plan you can buy today — it unlocks the full AI Trade Journal. Copier ($25/mo) and the Bundle ($40/mo, Journal + Copier) are listed but marked Coming Soon: their checkout buttons are disabled until the live copier launches, so they are not purchasable yet.

Can I buy the Copier or the Bundle right now?

Not yet. The Copier and Bundle are Coming Soon — their purchase buttons are intentionally gated while we finish the live copier. Only the Journal plan can be purchased today. When the Copier goes live we'll enable those checkouts.

Question 6

How do I cancel or change my plan?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings → Billing inside the app and open the billing portal. From the Stripe customer portal you can cancel, upgrade, or downgrade. Cancelling before day 7 of the trial means no charge; cancelling later stops future billing with no long-term contract.

Can I use a promo or coupon code?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Promotion codes can be entered on the Stripe checkout page — there's a field to apply a valid code before you confirm. If you were given a code, add it at checkout and the discount is applied to your subscription.

How do I import my trades?

Accepted Answer

Trade import is by CSV file: export your trade history from your broker or platform, then in the app go to the Journal import screen and upload the file. You'll see a preview of the parsed trades, and once it looks right you confirm to add them to your journal.

Which brokers and platforms are supported for import?

Accepted Answer

The import registry includes Tradovate, NinjaTrader, Rithmic R Trader, TopstepX, Project X, Interactive Brokers, Charles Schwab, Think or Swim, Tastytrade, Robinhood, WeBull, TradeStation, E*TRADE, Fidelity, Questrade, Oanda, MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradingView, plus a Generic (CSV) option that maps any column layout. The Generic mapper means you can import from almost any source, even if it isn't named above.

Is Auto-Sync available?

Not yet — Auto-Sync (automatic broker syncing) is coming soon. For now, importing is done via CSV upload → preview → confirm, which works today across the supported platforms.

What do Insights, Game Plan, the Trading Health Score, and the Trade Detail panel do?

Insights surface patterns in your trading — your best and worst setups, times, and symbols — from your imported history. Game Plan gives you a focused daily briefing based on those patterns. The Trading Health Score condenses your discipline and performance into a single at-a-glance metric. The Trade Detail panel lets you open any individual trade to review its numbers, tag it, rate it, and attach notes.

What does the Trade Copier do?

The Trade Copier mirrors a leader account's fills to one or more follower accounts, so when the leader gets filled the same trade is routed to the followers. It's built as a cloud, server-side engine that reacts to the leader's broker fills.

Is the Copier live yet?

Accepted Answer

No — the Copier is Coming Soon. The engine and account-connection flow are in active build, but live order routing isn't enabled for customers yet, which is why the Copier and Bundle checkouts are gated.

Is there a paper mode?

Yes. The copier is being built with a paper mode where fills are simulated rather than sent to a real broker, so you'll be able to see how mirroring behaves before any real capital is involved.

How does it handle prop-firm rules?

Each follower can have its own per-follower execution timing and size variance — independence controls intended to keep follower accounts from being carbon copies of the leader. These are compliance aids for Independent Trade Execution; they are not a claim of undetectability. Following your prop firm's rules is your responsibility for each account.

How is my data handled?

Your account is protected by a secure login session, and the dashboard is only reachable by you when signed in with an active subscription or trial. Your trades and account remain yours — Next Trade is software for journaling and (soon) routing your trades; it does not provide financial advice.
